NASH, JOHNNY
Artist Info: Black american singer. He is born as John Lester Nash Jr. on August 19th 1940. He started as a pop singer in the 50ies to become famous as writer and singer of the theme song for “The Mighty Hercules” cartoon of the early 60ies. His best known song is “I Can See Clearly Now” of 1972. He appeared as Robert in the swedish romance “Vill Sa Garna Tro” (1971). Of the soundtrack of this movie it is said to have Bob Marley on guitar at two songs. The soundtrack appeared finally in the trader scene. To me his Bob Marley covers are of interest. Some songs are recorded with a similar band as playing at the Bob Marley JAD productions of 1972.
