CHAPTER 4:
BUNNY LEE PRODUCTIONS

After Bunny´s release The Wailers needed money to continue their record shop and to record and release new songs. Peter Tosh still had recorded for Bunny Lee. This led to the release of one song. Bunny understand this release as a Bob Marley solo project and not inside The Wailers catalogue.

Mr. Chatterbox

Written by Bob Marley.
Lead vocals by Bob Marley.
Harmonies by Peter Tosh and Rita Marley. Bunny himself tells, he didn´t participate.
Spoken intro by Bunny Lee and Bob Marley.
Backing by „The Bunny Lee All-Stars“, also known as „The Uniques“, „The Upsetters“ and also known as „The Hippie Boys“: Carlton Barrett on drums, Aston Barrett on bass, Alva Reggie Lewis and Ranford Williams on guitar, Glen Adams on keyboards. Maybe Peter Tosh on organ or guitars.
Recorded at Randy´s Studio 1969 and released 1970. Peter Tosh did some solo recordings later in 1969, following this first recording for producer Bunny Lee.
