CHAPTER 3:

This Train

Backing by Hugh Malcom on drums, Jackie Jackson on bass, Hux Brown on guitar, Winston Wright on keyboards and Larry McDonald on bongos. These musicians are also called „The Dynamites“ and were the studio band of Dynamic Studios.
Recorded at Federal Studio in November 1969.
The rumour says: Jamaican 7-inch release: Dynamic, 1970 a-side: This Train / Thank You Lord (credit: The Bob Marley Singers) (Ian McCann gives this info about the single, whereas the The Complete Wailers 1967 – 1972 – sleeve-notes say, that Bunny Wailer remembers of this single, of which no copy ever has been found.) In fact the track seems to be taken from a studio tape.
UK Longplay release: In The Beginning, Trojan TRLS 221, 1983 (2,46)
French LP release: The Complete Wailers 1967 – 1972 – Part I – Selassie Is The Chapel, JAD AB 06891, 1997 (2,39)
USA CD release: The Complete Wailers 1967 – 1972 – Part 2 – Selassie Is The Chapel, JAD CD 1002, 1998 (2,39)
French CD release: Rebel (3-CD-Box), EMI / Fifty Five 541 393-2, 2002 (2,37)
Not part of USA CD release: Fy-Ah, Fy-Ah, CD-Box, Universal, 2004 because of obvious mistake, „This Train (Wail´N Soul´M)“ appears twice instead of this one.
