14. Annex 3: Lost Albums with Lyrics – Not To Gets

Annex 3
LOST BOB MARLEY ALBUMS 1972-1980
Although it is an interesting field of study, how Bob Marley developed the songs while recording a couple of different demos with alternate vocals, there is a good argument for NOT releasing demos: Bob Marley decided not to publish these, but the released versions.
The power that is revealed in his released songs is anyway as lively in his songs, that are unreleased in any form. The following unreleased songs are findable on traded tapes, discs, videos and so positively available for a possible release. While regarding the handful of new songs released since 1981, the release of all of those can only expected to occasionally happen somewhen during the coming centuries.

Some would say I’m armed and dangerous,
But I would say, “Don’t get nervous”.
Some would say I’m a freedom fighter,
Some would say I’m an executioner,
Some would say I’m a liberator,
An’ me say jump them, jump them,
Don’t want to be no prisoner.
An’ me say break down the prison walls,
Oh make me no more prisoner no more.
And me fe break down the prison walls,
There’ll be no more prosoners no more.
Then man won’t have to do wrong,
Cause everything will be alright.

Tell my mama not to make no noise,

Same rhythm as “God Of All Ages”
Deep in the countryside lives a man
think he knew more than any harm
he could pray for sun or rain
he was vain droughed three little games

In the country lived an old woman
she worn enough of the countryside
say life offers worse up anymore
oh oh

it dig my head, but you lack my feelings
dig my feelings, but you couldn’t hurt my soul
now you talked to someone flesh can grow older
can reveal your rock and roll.

how come the people of today believe in rumours
oh my people don’t you believe in rumour
spreading rumours all over town
that they want and wanna throw i down
some was glad, some was sad
some was easy, some was bad
how come the people believe in rumours
how gotta the people always believe in rumours
never did know time proove for yourself
this is never no time proove it by yourself
how come my people believe in rumour
how come my people believe in rumours
they spreading rumours all over town
for what they look up cause them gonna let theirselves down
cause i have strucked my life upon the rock
i’ll never turn back
how come my people believe in rumour
how come my people of to… believe in rumours
never have time to listen if you are gonna booze
they always keep bringing bad bad booze
as you shall judge one another you shall judge yourself
don’t fight your finger brothers, if your hands not clean
as if it is not so, it shall return shall upon you
nothing you can do to escape in this time
how come my people believe in rumour
just like their soul Joseph way down in Egypt
just like they crucified Christ way down in Egypt
as the brothers of his brothers way down in Egypt
way down in egypt land way down in egypt
how come the people believe in rumour
how come the people always believe in rumours
they have no time to cook for themselves
have no time to rule for themselves
but due to their caresses they fight i down
they want to wipe my feat from off the ground
But Jah Is I strength
But Jah is I fortress
so men and people dig your frail for rest
how come my people believe in rumours
how come my people always believe in rumours
they starve my brothers now
so they could use them
they starve the people
but i a wanna rule them
thy don’t know what’s happening
they don’t know
they want to turn back underty of prophecy
they want to turn back underty of prophecy
how come my people believe in rumour
how come my people believe in rumour
they want to turn back underty of prophecy
they want to turn back
no you can turn away ther hand of time
no you can turn away ther hand of time

Oh people please
Lift with your eyes
Be with your vision
Try to realize
Offence that march
Give him a starch
Play hand your mind
Will see but your blind
Take your religion
Drive you away
Surround you by water
Of that day to this day
You cannot move
Without all that peace
All of desassels
You will have to please it .
They set you up my son. I know they will now
They set you up my son.
Say the will of my masters
And not nothing from this desaster
Time is at hand
We understand
We shall pay
For what they done
Mind just and stairs
Laughing is mine
So I shall turn
Now shall be blind
They try to set you up my son.
They set you up my son.
They set you up my son.

As did their pleasion,
Just not and men,
Just men chest and chariots,
Horses and plates,
Their will be brainwashed,
So many years,
he gather till them.
But a king is never honoured in his country.
And a prophet is never honoured in his own country.

But Jah is our strength.
She love by hand.
He shall establish.
He got his plan.
No man and people,
Can come take their life.
So judgement day,
Me struggle strive.
Though the fire a goh burn it.
And now the fire a go burn it.
You miss.
Yes you miss.
You were wrong.
You were wrong.

They’ll set you up my son.
They’ll set you up my son.
How can you rest,
In such a blaze night.
How can you think,
In suffer our side.
So far away,
The land we have known.
Don’t be no fool,
Please come on home.
Hey baby, I am in the place.
They don’t have no rastaman taste.
Hey, baby, all in all,
You lost.
Jah is our Strength.
Jah is our Strength.

They fi tell man a fi kaya and they judge I,
For them things I never do.
The jury found I guilty,
And I found them guilty, too.
Cause I’m a jailbreaker, a hot stepper,
Yes, I’m a jailbreaker, a hot stepper,
Well, I’m livin’ in injustice. And I hear it in every way.
( ) And I hear it in every day.

Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,
Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

Sing it , I’m a Jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,
I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,

Heard it on the radio,
I was armed and dangerous.
But in my heart I know,
I’m full of love.
But the system get nervous.

I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,
I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,

They ( ) and they judge I,
For them things I never do,
And the jury found I guilty,
And I found them guilty, too.

Yes, I’m a jailbreaker,
Going be a hot stepper,
I’ve got to be a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

( ) of a new day,
As we walk through the fiery clay.
But the jury found I guilty,
Found them guilty, too.
Jailbreak, ooh, day break.
Got to watch the city,
Said the watchman watch in vain,
And while they was sleeping,
Slip through the gate again.

Yeah, I’m a jailbreaker,
It’s easy, hot stepper.

Lick I head, and another,
The work of The Father.

Cause I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,
I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

Yeah, they came and they frame I
For things I never do.
And the jury found I guilty,
But I found them guilty too.

Yeah, we’re the jailbreakers,
You can call us the hot steppers,
We the jailbreakers,
Hot steppers,

Said we’re victim of circumstances,
And we don’t stand a chance.
But the good have to endure the struggle,
Look and never take a chance.

Wezz, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hmmm, hot stepper.
Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
And a hot stepper.

Jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.
Well I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

Them escape from your prison,
Cause I melt without a reason,
How could you put me behind bars with your lies.
You want to ruin my freedom,
In this type of institution.
Two sticks of dynamite,
Could cause a night excuse.

I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.
Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

Jailbreakers,
Jailbreakers,
Hot steppers,

We are the jailbreakers,
You can say the hotsteppers,
You can call the jailbreaker,
You can say we’re the hot steppers,

The truth cuts like a two-edged sword,
And it cuts deeper than the word,
Truth cuts like a two-edged sword,
Deep like in the word.

Yes, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper,
No reputation,
Hot stepper.

Yes they came and they took I,
To the gallows to hang I.
This old priest came up to I and said,
“Oh, the good got to suffer for the bad”.

Say I’m a jailbreaker,
You can call me the hot stepper,
An’ me say jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

It was the 25th of this morning,
They came for I.
They came and they took I,
In the courthouse to try I.
The guilty was not guilty,
The truth could not be the word of day,
( ) To the gallows to hang I.
This old priest came up to I and say,
“Son, I know you haven’t done wrong”.
What a pity how things are today,
Good have to suffer for the bad.
But the town people was singing.

Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
Become a hot stepper,
Wanna be a jailbreaker,
Find my future with the hot steppers.

Jailbreak,
Got a future with the hot stepper,
I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot steppers.

No, don’t you hang him down,
He’s not the one who shot up a town.
No, you can’t hang that one,
He’s not the one who mash up your town.

He’s just a jailbreaker,
You can call me a hot stepper,

You got to have some respect to we.
Never having no no bully, never having no no bean,
It never happened in the gully, it ever happenend in the bean.

Yes, I’m a hot stepper,
You can call me a jailbreaker,
Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
Hot stepper.

As I walk through the dark shadows of the ghetto,
Say we yearn for the sunshine of freedom.
Man end has been our destruction,
Wherever we shall warn.
Make us to lie down in the prison cells of injustice.
Oh Jah know I can’t.

Yes, I’m a jailbreaker,
You can call me a hot stepper,
Well, I’m a jailbreaker,
You can call me a hot stepper,

Well, it’s I’m a jailbreaker,
I’m a hot stepper,

A dub by Prince Fari is released as “Ondo Dub” on his album “Dubwise” (1991).
Lead vocals by Bob Marley, harmonies by I-Threes.
Recorded live at Houston July 29th, 1978 and at Orpheum Theatre, Madison, Wisconsin, USA, May 25th 1978.

Footsteps of the warder, with his bunch of jingling keys.
Is there another prisoner coming in, (be)fore IaI will be free.
Now he’s walking up the corridor, as I stand here militantly.
The same judge who found me guilty, could have proved my innocency.
Innocency, jingling keys, they do as they please.
So brothers don’t you worry, just build your unity.
They’re only trying to test us, to see if they can weaken us mentally.
But some day they’ll be sorry, for the real culprits will be, behind those
iron curtains, then i’ll have those jingling keys.
Jingling keys, jingling keys, they do as they please.
Jingling keys, they jingle for me.
Footsteps of the warder, with his bunch of jingling keys.
Is there another prisoner coming in, (be)fore IaI will be free.
Now he’s walking up the corridor, as I stand here militantly.
The same judge who found me guilty, could have proved my innocency.
Jingling keys, they do as they please.
Jingling keys, they do, they do as they please.
Brothers don’t you worry, just build your unity.
They’re only trying to test us, to see if they can weaken us mentally.
But some day they’ll be sorry, for the real culprits will be, behind those
iron curtains, then i’ll have those jingling keys.
The jingling keys, those jingle, jingling keys, jingling keys, jingling

05. CRY ON
Written by Bob Marley.
Bob Marley on acoustic guitar and lead vocals
Recorded 1980.
The vocals seems to be influenced by the gospel’s messages about Jesus and the Passover. He felt pain not be able to care for the people any more, that he had cared for since long, even in knowledge of their coming struggles. But as it is finally the way of all creation to live and die and in faith live forever in a different state of being, it seems that Bob Marley accepted his much too early death in heavenly peace. Expecting to go on with what he ever did, singing wailing songs “just around the corner”.
Findable at Ultra Rarities 6-CD.
I feel creation cry on, cry on.
Oh-oh, cry on, cry on.
I see desations of temptations.
Every time must go through true revelation.
Cause in the ways I am firing in it getting hot.
And it’s my turn to fight, cause I get stronger.
Cry on, cry on.
Cry on, come on.
Don’t cry, my sister.
And some will hate you and try to drive you away.
No thing that stocked in the flesh, so that would I pray.
Must be demonstent unlead the way.
You brought a lot of wine,
Better find a way.
Cry on, cry on, boost your targets.
Cry on, cry on, in my own eyes.
Hmm. The big have upset your trop through them guy,
Cause all must fail the day I found I.
Cause as the sun shine cold on fire,
Oh, my every every every talk is crying.
Don’t you cry on, cry on.
Don’t want it, baby, am fillth and gone with it.
Far away from the living, babe,
The wicked have set their traps and veil their nets.
And keep circumcising their beds. Through this my eyes,
People, in my distinction, this is: ‹Fill-Itñ.
So brother, if you make it, you’ve got traces.
Cry on, try on.
Now further to go.
Carry on, no broomstick boom,
Got further to go now.
Just around the corner riding around,
Further to blow, cry on.

Too much.
She think I could not remember the things that I have said.
So vain imagination instead.
Every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away.
Every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away.
Never thought we could be strangers.
Always think there will be no need all ah.
When through these eyes of mine things are not the way they may seem some time.
Every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away. Oooh.
Every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away.
Yes, yes, I still love, tell you what, I still love laughter of children.
Children playing in the dream fields.
But it’s not like this anymore.
Love’s don’t threw the door.
Every day is such – awful stay, hmm. Since you’ve been away.
Sing, sing, Baby, sing the chorus, Baby !
‹Every dayñ Lord.
Since you been away.
I never thought I could miss you you so much.
Oh, Love, why was love so much in a rush.
Now, Fools, pay your price.
No more sacrifice.
It can’t stop.
Who could be so cruel.
After all was said and done. Done and done.
I never knew that you be so blue. Hmm.
So the vibration keeps going on.
Another day, yes, another song.
Words got their own meaning.
Reality to someone else.
Every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away.
Cause every day is such a lonely day, since you’ve been away.
Ever.
They will shed no tears.

In case you wanna stop by here,
Be my true someone.

It’s all bitterness.
Every love has a sweet caress.
Every love known its own bitterness.
Every love have a sweet caress.

Written probably by Jimmy Norman.

Recorded 1968

I asked myself why
Have I cheated myself ?
That good life what I why could not believe.
I am sure, there so much more for me.

I asked myself how?
But as lonely as I
Only tears from my eyes
Reminding me when I was so lied.

I asked myself where
There’s my future life?
And supposed to make it, if i try,
I know I’ll make it, if I just try.

I asked myself where
Yes, my future lies
I am supposed to make it make it if i try
I know I’m gonna make it, if I try

I asked myself when.
I asked myself how.
I aksed myself when.
