Seemingly „Dancing Shoes“ also appeared on 7-inch coupled with „Shame And Scandal“. I have a recording of this 7-inch with „Dancing Shoes“ (2,45) on „Wailers Import Singles“ (mp3-sourced)
UK 7-inch release: Rio R 116, 1966, a-side: Dancing Shoes / b-side: Don´t Look Back

I Need You

Cover of The Tempations‚ „Baby Baby I Need You“.

USA CD release: Destiny: Rare Ska Sides from Studio One, Heartbeat, 1999 (2,49)
USA CD release: Greatest Hits At Studio One, Heartbeat HB 257, 2003 (2,47)
I have an info about a song called „Baby I Need You“ and suppose, it is this song or „I Need You (1964)“. If I am wrong there is a song to add to this document.

Dreamland

Written by Bunny Wailer. Adapted from a song „My Dream Island“, written by Al Johnson and recorded by an american band called „El Tempos“ for the Vee-Jay label from Chicago.
Lead vocals by Bunny Wailer.
Harmonies by Peter Tosh and Constantine Walker.

Note: The song appeared overdubbed in 1981 and overdubbed differently in 1991.

Blowing In The Wind

Written by Bob Dylan in 1962, also a hit in the sixties when covered in 1963 by a UK folk group called Peter, Paul & Mary. RS tells, that this song was recorded at Studio One in 1966, according to Bunny Wailer, but the tape was not found.

FOOTNOTES:

(Unknown Title)

Vocals by The Wailers.
Backing by The Skatalites.
Justin Yap told Bob Brookes that there is one more Wailers song from the ska period. It is voiced by The Wailers and played by The Skatalites. Only one unique acetate of this recording was made. It was in the hands of Justin Yap during the times when he owned Top Deck label. It was lost when the label closed. Justin Yap is convinced the song is definitely lost. Bob Brooke is from a famous reggae shop in London, UK, called Reggae Revive. It is because it sounds like a true first source info, that I add this story about an obscure recording.

Unknown Melodica Track

Melodica track to Bob Andy´s „I´ve Got To Go Back Home“.
Melodica maybe by Peter Tosh.
Further details unknown.
I have this track on CDR (Assorted Tracks from Kazo) running (2,52).

Bull Whip (Jack Sparrow)

Lead vocals by Jack Sparrow.
Harmonies by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer.
Jack Sparrow alone tells, the track would be released on a JA Studio One 7-inch. His info about the title is repeated on a record sleeve that don´t include that title.
RS mentions the track but is not able to confirm a release by giving a matrix.
Bunny Wailer remembers there were three songs recorded with Jack Sparrow, but he don´t remember a release or a further title.
JC don´t mention the track at all.
To me all this sounds as if the song was recorded but if it really was released is not confirmed by someone else except Jack Sparrow.
Finally one thing seems to be important: Noone else except Jack Sparrow would have a big advantage in finding a copy of this track and release it inside a best of a surely well sellable compilation telling that the Wailers would appear at harmonies. But still the song is not found nor reissued.
I sum up, it is only a rumour.

Women, Wine And Money (Jack Sparrow)

Lead vocals by Jack Sparrow.
Harmonies by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer.
Jack Sparrow alone tells, the track would be released on a JA Studio One 7-inch. His info about the title is repeated on a record sleeve that don´t include that title.
RS mentions the track but is not able to confirm a release by giving a matrix.
Bunny Wailer remembers there were three songs recorded with Jack Sparrow, but he don´t remember a release or a further title.
JC don´t mention the track at all.

Beggars Have No Choice (King Sparrow)

Lead vocals by Leonard Dillon, a.k.a. Jack Sparrow.
Backing vocals in fact not by The Wailers but by Peter Austin & The Claredonians.
The info that the harmonies would be by The Wailers is taken from Leonard Dillon himself. JC repeats this info. RS in contrast tells the backing band is not the Wailers, but in fact the harmonies are by Peter Austin. I like to add that I own a reissue with this song and I am not able to identify any Wailers vocals here.

Have Faith, Have Faith In The Lord (Freedom Singers)

Lead vocals by Peter Austin.
Backing probably by The Soulettes.
„The Freedom Singers“ was a common pseudonym to hide the true artist. I read somewhere the lead singer would be Peter Austin and the backing would be The Soulettes. Constantine Walker appear on harmony vocals here.
Jamaican 7-inch release: Studio One S 2010, 1966, a-side: Have Faith In The Lord (Freedom Singers) / b-side: Dinah (Joe Higgs)
UK 7-inch release: Studio One S 2010, 1967, a-side: Have Faith (Freedom Singers) / b-side: Dinah (Joe Higgs)
I have this track on Ultra Rarities CD 4 (2,50).

I Wouldn´t Be A Fool (Bob Andy & The Chorus)

JC tells that the harmonies would be by „The Chorus“ what here would be a pseudonym for „The Wailers“. I don´t know how he knows that the harmonies are by „The Chorus“ as the 7-inch is a blank 7-inch without label and so without artist credit. I would think there is a 7-inch with a handwriting on it saying „Bob Andy & The Chorus“. RS don´t mention this song.
From listening I am not able to decide, if the harmonies are by The Wailers. „The Chorus“ at „Making Love“ are indeed the Wailers, but at other tracks „The Chorus“ is a pseudonym used for other singers, too.
Blank (Musik City), a-side: I Wouldn´t Be A Fool (Bob Andy & The Chorus) (Matrix: CS DODD 96) (3,13) / b-side: Crime Don´t Pay (Bob Andy) (Matrix: 98)
I have this song mp3 sourced complete of „Pride & Ambition (Various Artists) private compilation on CDR (3,13) and recorded from vinyl on „Rarities from UK Nr. 2 CDR“ end cut (2,51).

Crime Don´t Pay (Bob Andy)

Info given in the book of JC, but in fact a printing mistake. In fact the words „Crime Don´t Pay“ should appear in this book in brackets to show that this song don´t feature „The Wailers“. The song is a solo vocal track of Bob Andy and the only connection to „The Wailers“ is that it is the flip side of „I Wouldn´t Be A Fool“.
Blank (Musik City), a-side: I Wouldn´t Be A Fool (Bob Andy & The Chorus) (Matrix: CS DODD 96) / b-side: Crime Don´t Pay (Bob Andy) (Matrix: 98) (2,53)
I have this song mp3 sourced of „Pride & Ambition (Various Artists) private compilation on CDR end cut (2,20) and I have it recorded from vinyl complete on „Rarities from UK Nr. 2 CDR“ (2,53).

I Don´t Want Her (Jackie Opel)

Info by JC. RS don´t mention this a-side as a song of The Wailers.
I cannot decided if The Wailers appear or not.
JA Muzik City, a-side: I Don´t Want Her (Credit: Jackie Opel) (With The Wailers?) (Matrix: WIRL CS 1794) (2,52) / b-side: Rudie Get Wise (Credit: Soul Boys) (Matrix: CS DODD 137)
UK Rio R 120 in 1967, a-side: I Don´t Want Her (Credit: Jackie Opel) (With The Wailers?) (Matrix: WIRL CS 1794) (2,50) / b-side: Rudie Get Wise (Credit: Soul Boys) (Matrix: CS DODD 137)
I have this song mp3-sourced of „Pride & Ambition (Various Artists) private compilation on CDR (2,52) and recorded from vinyl on „Rarities from UK Nr. 2 CDR“ (2,51).

La La Lover (The Soulettes)

Info by JC. RS don´t mention this a-side as a song of The Wailers.
The song features female vocals by The Soulettes and male harmonies. JC identifies these male harmonies as sung by Bob Marley. I think it is also possible that the male harmonies are by Constantine Dream Walker who was a regular member of The Soulettes.
Coxsone, a-side: La La Lover (Credit: The Soulettes) (With The Wailers?) (Matrix: CS 0023) (2,15) / b-side: Something Special (Credit: Roland Alphonso) (Matrix: CS 021)
Appears with silver writing on blue background.
I have the track on „Rarities from UK Nr. 2 CDR“ (2,15).

Green Callie (Roy Richards)
„Green Callie“ is a melodica cut to „Good Good Rudie“ („Jailhouse“). Not mentioned by RS.
Jamaican 7-inch release: Coxsone: a-side: You´re No Good (Marcia Griffiths) (Matrix: CS 1368) / b-side: Green Callie (Roy Richards) (Matrix: CS 1079) (2,05 ?) This 7-inch appears with black writing on red background. Looks like a seventies release. It seems that my source of 2,05 is only a part of the track with the end cut.

This Man Is Back (Don Drummond)

This is a Don Drummond instrumental made after his release from a mental institution. The Wailers didn´t record such a song after Bob Marley return in 1966. The rumour is mentioned in the book „Bob Marley – Reggae King Of The World“ by Malika Lee Whitney & Dermont Hussey, 2nd Edition, 1994, Page 61. In fact there is no such Wailers 7-inch release or recording.

Its Only Time (Peter And Rita)

Peter Austin and Rita Marley, not Peter Tosh and Rita Marley.
Jamaican 7-inch release, Studio One ST71 (early label), a-side: Its Only Time (Peter & Rita) / b-side: Tall In The Saddle (Roland Alphonso & His Soul Bros)
This single appears with silver on purple writing.

It´s Only Love (Peter and Rita)

I read somewhere there would be such a title with vocals by Peter Tosh and Rita Marley, released on a blank labeled 7-inch in 1966. Finally I think it is a mistaken info in fact dealing with the song „Making Love“ or with „It´s Only Time“ what in fact is a song by Peter Austin and Rota Marley.

But I Do

Written by Bob Marley but unrecorded.

Alligator Man

This is a song written by Bob Marley, but it was never recorded.

Without You

This is a song written by Bob Marley, but it was never recorded.

Dancing Mood (Delroy Wilson)

This is not a song by or with the Wailers, but a Delroy Wilson solo song without any harmonies.
