International Singles
Of the following listed UK Island singles there are also two different kinds of DJ pre-releases:
The „original“ DJ copies are blank labeled or have the title written with a ball point pen on it.
Then there are „fake“ DJ copies that have the usual island label and a stamp „DJ copy“ on it. These were made to make people believe it would be a special item, that in fact it is not. It is said that would have been a usual habit to put more items to sell into the market without paying royalties. DJ copies that are marked as such could be sold without royalties.

Jamming

This one and the set of the following 7-inches give no year of release but only the year of recording of the tracks. But ten of twelve tracks released here on 7-inch also appear on the 1984 album „Legend“. So I think this set is from 1984. The 1983 „Mix Up Mix Up“ Maxi has a catalogue number 668 and „Stir It Up“ has a catalogue number 670 so that „Stir It Up“ should be released not much later as „Mix Up Mix Up“.
