Produced by Lee Perry.
Written by Bob Marley.
Lead vocals by Bob Marley, harmonies by “The Meditations”.

Note: It is surprising not to read anything in RS book about this song including male harmonies, identified by themselves in an interview as “The Meditations”. Info taken from DD. BABYLON BY BUS ALBUM

Bob Marley on lead vocals, guitars and percussion, harmonies by Rita Marley, Judy Mowatt, Marcia Griffiths. In fact venues and dates are not fully sure.
One theory goes, all would be recorded in 1978 live in Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen and London.
Another theory goes, most of the tracks would have been recorded 1978 at Jaap Edhal, Amsterdam.
And a third theory goes, “Stir It Up” would be Live at Lyceum London 1975, Rat Race would be Amsterdam June 13th 1976 and the other tracks would be recorded in 1978 in Paris.
More and more I am tending to follow the third opinion but I do list the infos as given in Roger Steffens book before I know something different for sure.
The album is mixed at Hilversum in Holland.
